Management of flexible age range meeting times.
Yes, there are extraneous needs of the Girl Guides attending the weekly Unit meetings that are pushing the Hazelwood and Churchill Girl Guide District to open a second meeting time.
The biggest thing holding this back is the lack of people screaming to be leaders! For a female over 18 years old to become a leader they must have a police Check initiated by Guide Center and a Working with Children Check [WWC] other issues are lack of’s [money, time, commitment, weekends, transport....]
Then where are the girls who want to be Guides. Sometimes having one meeting time does not fit into their time table.
The second meeting time would be on a Wednesday and begin at 7pm and will be for the current 11 to 15 year age range.
