Tracking Tic-tac-toc

This is a great fillingin game for introducing camp skills .  Once learned the Guides can use it for a fill in , a teaching game themselves or as a Junior Leader.
  1. Gather natural objects suitable for making tracking signs.
  2. Using stones and twigs, arrange 9 tracking signs in a grid.
  3. Allow Guides to look at it for 1 minute and then ask them to duplicate it exactly.

Additionally use place cards with tracking sign on them.  When the guides are use to one method interchange it with the other.  Then ask for the directions that go with the name – how to make, where to find, when to use…,
