Whistle relay

At camp there are usually time and space for outdoor activities that need little equipment. This game is noisy but lets off a lot of steam while learning is taking place.  How ever the person who blows the whistle owns the whistle…  an Occupational Health and Safety aspect of the game.

  • Patrols in relay formation, each member is given a different whistle or hand signal used in camp.
  • Leader blows a signal at random, that guide runs to the far wall and returns to the patrol.
  • Examples of signals — warning for a meal. CooRhouse, rally, P.L.’scome here, freeze, make a circle.
