They arrived with a…

C.F.A Come on down to Guides.

When planning 2009 Tuesday program the girls decided to invite the CFA people to Guides. Little knowing that every one here would be so affected by the near by fires over the last two weeks.

Here are some of the pictures of the CFA ladies who came to our Girl Guide meeting today. And we did not scare them off…. so they are coming back too.

Hi Susan, Could you please provide details regarding the
sign and "gorilla garden" you wish to construct on the
Crown land as you will need to obtain written consent from
DSE prior to the commencement of works. Details I need

Jota 2010 new call sign

For 2010 we will have access to a special callsign for Sunday 1100
onwards – VK100WIA. The callsign will probably be sought after overseas, and hopefully international propagation will be starting to pick up by then.

Planning for this event has already started. The radio activities will be running on the Sunday.

Everyones a Star Playgroup :

Kira has begun to look into holding a play group.
1) There are two other play groups within a 10 radius. Terrific if there is little useful transportation. One requires a car both ways, the other a car one way. The Bus timetables do not meet either the start or the finishing times.
2)Calling the playgroup ‘Everyone’s a star’…Theme : Stars!
3) To be registered as a Victorian Playgroup.
4) To be held in the Old Glendonald Maternal and Child Health building.
5) Cost to be found out yet.
6) Involves on line discussion and keeping in contact.
