2010 Churchill Festival

Is back on.  New date April 17th 2010.

The district Leader has offered for the Guides to  help make and then to survey any child at the Churchill Festival in regard to the park [known as the Walker Street Park] and its possible use for the children who do use it, play in it, cut through it.

Churchill Festival meeting Nov 24th 2009.

Hi
The Churchill and District News Festival committee is holding a public meeting on November 24, at 5.30 at the Churchill Hub, in Phillip Parade.
At this meeting if you have any questions we hope to be able to answer them.
We, will by 28 February 2010 require a copy of your “Certificate of Currency” for all organisations with their own insurance. This is due to strict conditions which are set out from our insurance company and Latrobe City Council as part of their grant conditions.
All those who are not with an organisation which has its own insurance will be required to be registered with us to qualify for insurance cover especially acquired for the day.
With thanks
Tracey Burr

Frog is fixed

Frog is fixed and ready to come back to Office. Is frog going to Churchill Festival? Especially since the Gipp’s Guide Unit colour involves Lime Green… [that of Frog]. What was Ms Frogs name?

Churchill Festival

What to do at the Churchill Festival March 20th 2010.

Kira suggested that we make and sell jewellery. This has been widened to make/sell ‘Creative Inspirations’. [ SAS Share a Smile]. Some of Program to have creative inspiration included. Like next time they meet.

Shelter: Kitchen Fly or tent? Is it necessary to have a playpen and room for the little ones…yes then they use a tent. Into program goes tent erection.
