The World of Girl Guides

Recently I was asked “What are the limits of Girl Guiding”.  The recipent of my answer was shocked.  ” Be over female, five, not dead yet and registered. Act within the essence of the Promise and Laws and with common sense…and fill out the paperwork.”

That about sums it up.  So these pages take into consideration that the Hazelwood and Churchill District Girl Guides are only a very small drop in the bucket within the world of Girl Guides.  Understanding what, how and who are Girl Guides is only part of understanding Girl Guides as a whole. We encourage people to take up the challenge of Girl Guiding and to go as far as possible within it.  Along the way you’ll meet up with others, have great fun, terrific experiances, laughs and humbling times.  You’ll include others, be with others.  Have as much as you can absorb, learn many life skills, practice and challenge yourself with other skills and competencies.Watch yourself and your friends grow.
